McCafe, Jalan Pahang

Hey guys~ Sorry for not updating my blog (If la there are readers =.=). I have been down with some infections for the whole week. In fact, I still do not feel very good right now. I guess have to make an appointment with the specialist somewhere next week. T.T

Anyway, I passed by Jalan Pahang few weeks back and saw that the McD there (The one that always causes traffic jam on that road) was on renovation. Since the first McCafe has been opened in Kota Damansara, my guess was that they are making this outlet a McCafe too. :D

True enough, after few weeks of renovation, it was reopened a few days back, with McCafe! I always saw McCafe in other countries when I went for trips. At last, we have them here now. Therefore, Bye-bye Starbucks~ I have a cheaper option *cheapskate mode on*. XD

It was very packed at night, probably because this month is Ramadhan month, so our muslim friends like the coffee at night after breaking fast. So we went for teatime in the afternoon in McCafe.

Auntie stocking up Dutch Lady milk.. lol~

It was still quite pack in the afternoon (Why people like McD so much huh?). One thing I do not like is that the cafe corner does not look like cafe pun cause people with Big Macs still sat there. o.O Moreover, they on their McD's music so darn loud until I cannot listen to what the BF talked. T.T

I have a cup of Hazelnut Latte (RM4.50 for small cup of latte, RM1 for Hazenut syrup). Not bad, aromatic and not too sweet with a slight Hazelnut sweetness la~ Worth for the price. But I wonder why I did not get the 'M' foam with mcCafe mug. Instead, it was served in a glass without handle. Luckily, they still tied a piece of serviette on it as its sleeve. >.<

The BF ordered a small Cappuccino (RM4.50), with the 'M' foam~ Haha I like that 'M' lor~ The BF said it is quite nice, comparable to Starbucks' coffee? I think for that price, can't complain much la.

However, I looked at their pastries and cakes, they are pretty pricey. RM9.90 for such a small slice of Marble Cheesecake. So we did not order that. Can I tapao cakes from Starbucks and have coffee in McD ar next time? XD

Short Hair!

For those who already knew me, should know that I have been keeping my long hair style for.... almost 10 years? My hair length has been around my waistline and butt for as long as I remember. The reason that I did not want to change my hair style is because I am too lazy to manage my hair. :p People had been saying that my hair looks shiny, I wonder why. Actually they are super dry because I did not even bother to put anything on it except washing and conditioning it~ XD Therefore, I faced with extreme hair fall lately. I guess my scalp  no longer can support the length of my hair and my hair also get tangled very very often. T.T

Last photo of me with my long straight hair

Hence, I have this urge of cutting my hair all of a sudden. XD I thought of it few days back and I got the haircut yesterday~ Haha. I did not really think much as I know hair will grow long again very soon (I hope :p) I wanted to do bob hair and googled for a nice one. I found this which I kind of like it, although it does not look so bob~ But I want it slightly shorter la, just enough to cover my fatty face. :p

Then I thought about which salon I should go to. I have been going to Beauty Extreme in The Mall for the past few years. There was a professional stylist that I like very much but seems like he has transfer to another branch or went to somewhere else. So I no longer go there anymore. :p My friend introduced this salon called Hairworx, near to the Museum Telekom. She goes there all the time, bringing her sisters too.

Apparently the salon is quite busy on a Saturday. Initially I only wanted a haircut but the stylist insist of straightening my hair since it's so frizzy. I gave in at the end because I do not pay that often also la, and I want a nicer hair. So I sat there for 4 hours and paid RM300. -.-" The outcome was quite nice la, although it came out different from what I wanted. After the so called resculpturing or whatever, my hair is very very soft and bouncy now. XD I think it worth the money.

The stylist was so happy with the outcome that she insisted on taking a photo for me o.O

I wanted it shorter but the stylist suggested this length. T.T I only do not like the fringe. The stylist did not cut the fringe for me at the beginning but I requested for it. Then she cut it so short that I got a shock of my life. T.T I hope it will grow soon.

When I prepared to go out right after my hair cut I realized that, the new hairstyle made my head looks even bigger. I have already have a big head, now my body looks so tiny. o.O

Super big head. Ow, the top I bought it from a small boutique from Sg. Wang. It costs only RM15 and I super like it. XD

Cristang, 8 Avenue @ PJ State

It was a Friday and my colleagues thought of going for something nicer for lunch. We had been having economic/chicken rice from those coffee shops most of the time. It is economic la but kind of boring after a long period (Actually not so long only, around 1 month lor~). A colleague suggested this place, he did not tell where it is at the beginning, he just directed us to the place. Looked at his cunning face, I predicted something not good. lol~ XD

So we jammed all the way to this 8 Avenue at PJ State. I am not really familiar with the place but it is not too far from the client office. :D He wanted to go to this Fusion restaurant called Cristang. Apparently, it has been there for quite some time and is quite well-known.

Glory Glory Porky~ XD

There were few tables of customers when we reached. The setting of the cafe is quite comfortable. They should upgrade their menu la. Those low quality printed A4 papers arranged in file folders look ugly and not attractive. They should have come out with some more appealing ones. :p They serve a lot of dishes with pork. Btw, the speed was quite slow. We ordered three burgers to share within five of us and we waited almost 30 minutes for the burgers to come.

The colleague suggested to order the Urban Legend which is one of the best/famous burger from the restaurant. :D The burger came with some greens and wedges as side dishes, and the buns are toasted fragrantly~ XD The highlight of this Urban legend is that the bend of "Petai" as its gravy. I never liked petai, the smell usually kills me. To my surprise, this one is just very delicious, very flavourful. The pork patty was cooked just nice. I enjoyed this and hoped that I would have the whole burger. Sorry that I cannot remember the price, but it was around RM30. Those we ordered are around that price. Not cheap for that regular size lol.

I am the Legend! :D

We also ordered the Tandoori Pork Burger. Instead of using the normal buns, they used pita breads. The pork was served outside of the bread wtf. It was served with some pickled vegetables which was quite appetizing but the burger itself was a little bit bland.

The last that we tried was the Korean Inspired, which comes with kimchi and bacon. Sorry la, I really do not fancy Kimchi because I think it has some weird tastes lol~ XD The kimchi on this burger did not taste that strong la, so I was OK with it. Those who like kimchi may think that it can have tasted better.

Overall, I still like the Urban Legend. Let's see whether there is fate or not for me to go back just for that burger~ Anyway, does petai always taste this nice? I have prejudice towards it. XD

Sailormoon Collector's Cards

I was talking to a friend earlier and she told me she has bought some Sailormoon collector's cards via the Internet. As she mentioned, I remember that I still kept parts of my collection (FYI, I was a crazy Sailormoon fan when I was very young XD). I flipped the whole house, digging every cabinet trying to search for my collections. >.<

I once hoped that I will get a BF like Tuxedo Mask but I now think he looks like a gay lol.

I remember when my family was still staying in the terrace house, I owned a whole room of Sailormoon rubbish stuffs. :p Literally whole room as there was no path for me to walk around that room, all are my collection! *Proud* But then we moved to a small apartment (which we are still staying now FML), so I couldn't bring the whole room there. I decided just to grab a plastic bag of what I could bring and that's all. The remaining went to Alam Flora. Sobz!

If Sailormoon comes alive~ *drool*

I have few books for collector's cards, all those shiny ones turned from the card machines. 50 cents per card? I remember I spent whole night (and my Dad's money) just to get the cards I wanted. If I were my Dad, I would have disowned this child already. Haha~

And yeah, I found my collection from the deepest corner of my closet. (Yup, I keep a lot of junk in my closet~ XD) A cardholder with 240 pieces of shiny cards~ Whoa, I was like crying (in my heart la) when I found them. Hahaha.

One of my favourite collections. All in gown~

Some of the cards are so special. I like these silver cards very much. I wonder did I really got it from those card machines? Do they have such good quality cards? I cannot remember leh~

Then saw these translucent cards also. See through one *syok*~ and the card texture is a little bit grossy. I likey. XD

Also found some Sailormoon pins which I got them from Gashapons. Those Gashapons were so ciplak back then but these pins look not bad la, although the face a bit retarded. XD

That friend of mine is keen to buy these collection items. I have no objection of selling to her la, as I know she will keep these cards nicely. The problem is, how much should I sell them ar? *drool + evil laugh*
