Anyway, I passed by Jalan Pahang few weeks back and saw that the McD there (The one that always causes traffic jam on that road) was on renovation. Since the first McCafe has been opened in Kota Damansara, my guess was that they are making this outlet a McCafe too. :D
True enough, after few weeks of renovation, it was reopened a few days back, with McCafe! I always saw McCafe in other countries when I went for trips. At last, we have them here now. Therefore, Bye-bye Starbucks~ I have a cheaper option *cheapskate mode on*. XD
It was very packed at night, probably because this month is Ramadhan month, so our muslim friends like the coffee at night after breaking fast. So we went for teatime in the afternoon in McCafe.
Auntie stocking up Dutch Lady milk.. lol~ |
It was still quite pack in the afternoon (Why people like McD so much huh?). One thing I do not like is that the cafe corner does not look like cafe pun cause people with Big Macs still sat there. o.O Moreover, they on their McD's music so darn loud until I cannot listen to what the BF talked. T.T
I have a cup of Hazelnut Latte (RM4.50 for small cup of latte, RM1 for Hazenut syrup). Not bad, aromatic and not too sweet with a slight Hazelnut sweetness la~ Worth for the price. But I wonder why I did not get the 'M' foam with mcCafe mug. Instead, it was served in a glass without handle. Luckily, they still tied a piece of serviette on it as its sleeve. >.<
The BF ordered a small Cappuccino (RM4.50), with the 'M' foam~ Haha I like that 'M' lor~ The BF said it is quite nice, comparable to Starbucks' coffee? I think for that price, can't complain much la.
However, I looked at their pastries and cakes, they are pretty pricey. RM9.90 for such a small slice of Marble Cheesecake. So we did not order that. Can I tapao cakes from Starbucks and have coffee in McD ar next time? XD
